• The shape of TNGN polycrystalline cubic boron nitride insert is a stable equilateral triangle, which is an ISO international standard model, and can also be called TNGN. The solid CBN insert TNGN is sintered under high temperature and high pressure on the six-sided top, and has excellent heat resistance, wear resistance and chemical stability.

• Common models of TNGN solid CBN inserts are TNGN1103 and TNGN1604. The nose radius are 02, 0, 08, 12.

  Common chamfers of TNGN solid CBN inserts are T01020, T02020, S01020, S02020, S05020, etc. Other chamfers can be customized.

• TNGN solid CBN inserts have excellent cutting performance and are suitable for high-speed dry cutting. They are widely used in the processing of gray cast iron, ductile iron, wear-resistant alloy cast iron and various cast steel and hardened steel materials.

  They are often used for turning gray cast iron brake discs. Gray iron brake drums, boron cast iron cylinder liners, cast iron clutches, cast iron pressure plates, gray cast iron flanges, air conditioner compressors and other typical cast iron parts are also commonly used for machining high hardness cast iron rolls and other parts. It can withstand large cutting depth and large cutting, and can adapt to intermittent cutting. It is better to control the cutting depth within 2/3 of the length of the cutting edge of the insert.
